The error message "Unable to complete cellular plan change" is related to installation failure and may be caused by the following factors:
- Too many eSIMs installed on the device. While eSIM-compatible devices allow you to install multiple eSIMs, the number of eSIMs that can be activated simultaneously may vary depending on the device model. For example, iPhones can store 5 to 10 eSIMs, depending on the device's storage space. For more details, please contact your phone manufacturer.
- If you confirm that the device's eSIM storage space is full, you can remove old eSIMs from the device. You can find instructions on how to remove eSIMs from your device here: [How to remove eSIM from my device?](#)
- "Cellular Data" is disabled in the device's settings.
- The eSIM you are trying to install has been installed previously: Most eSIMs can only be installed once.
- You can go to Settings > General > About > scroll down to find the ICCID (a 20-digit number starting with 89XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX and ending with an additional random digit) to verify if an eSIM has already been installed on the device. If you confirm that an ICCID has been installed, some adjustments may be needed to establish a connection. The eSIM installation page contains all the details.
- Unstable connection during the eSIM installation attempt. This usually happens when using Wi-Fi on a ship or public Wi-Fi.
If the problem persists, please contact support.
