I am experiencing “This code is no longer valid”

The error "This code is no longer valid" typically occurs when attempting to add an eSIM that was previously added or due to network connectivity issues.

To confirm if the eSIM is installed, follow these steps:

  •  Go to "Settings," then navigate to "General," click on "About," and scroll down.
  •  If the eSIM is installed and activated, you should see the ICCID [NUMBER] + an additional number. Simply set the eSIM to "Enabled."
  •  On the other hand, if you encounter this error message when scanning the eSIM QR code for the first time, it could be due to poor network connectivity, VPN enabled on the phone, or having too many eSIMs installed on the device.

Follow these steps to successfully install the eSIM:

  1. Disable any VPN.
  2. Ensure you have a good and stable internet connection.
  3. Delete any unused eSIM cards.
  4. Check if the system software is updated to the latest version.
  5. Try installing the eSIM using a different installation method (scanning/manually entering) than before.
