II. Installation

QR Code Method

1. Go to Settings on your device.
2. Tap Cellular or Mobile Data.
3. Tap Add Cellular Plan.

4. TAP Use QR Code.
5. TAP Open Photos and select the saved QR code.
   
6. Wait a few minutes for the eSIM to activate.
7. Tap Done.
8. Add a label for the newly installed eSIM.
9. Tap Secondary.
10. Enter "Tenesim" or your preferred label.
11. Tap Done.
12. Tap Continue.
13. Choose the primary number for calls and texts.
14. Tap Continue.
15. Choose the primary number for iMessage and FaceTime.
16. Tap Continue.
17. Choose "Tensim eSIM" for cellular data.
18. Ensure "Allow Cellular Data Switching" is turned off.
19. Tap Continue.
    

After completing these steps, the installation page will close. After installing the eSIM, follow the instructions on the eSIM installation page to ensure proper 

III. Access Data (QR Code)

After installing the eSIM, you also need to make necessary connection adjustments as per the instructions on the eSIM installation page.

1. On your device, go to Settings > Cellular or Settings > Mobile Data.
2. Tap the newly installed eSIM number.

   3.Choose to Enable this number for your eSIM and enable Data Roaming.

4. On the same page, tap Cellular Data Network. If required, continue to input the APN (Access Point Name) on your device. You can find APN details in the eSIM installation details in the TeneSIM App/account.

5. Return to Settings > Cellular or Settings > Mobile Data.

6. Select the eSIM for Cellular Data or Mobile Data. Make sure to turn off Allow Cellular Data Switching to avoid charges from other numbers.

7. Go to eSIM settings and choose the supported networks.

How to Install and Set Up eSIM on Android Devices

1. In Settings, tap Network & Internet.
2. Tap the + icon next to SIM.
3. Tap Download a SIM instead?

  

    4.Tap Next and scan the QR code found in the eSIM details in the TeneSIM app or in the email we send you.
    5.Tap Download to install the eSIM.

  

6. Once the eSIM download is complete, go to Settings.
7. Toggle the switch to ensure the eSIM is active.
8. Toggle the switches for Mobile Data and Roaming.

  

 

Your eSIM profile should now be installed on your Google Pixel device.

 

How to Install eSIM on Samsung Galaxy Devices：

Before proceeding with the installation of eSIM on your Samsung Galaxy device, please ensure the following:

• Not all Samsung Galaxy models support eSIM, so it's best to check if your device supports eSIM before starting. Follow the steps in this article to check if your Galaxy device supports eSIM.
• Make sure your Samsung Galaxy device supports eSIM and is carrier unlocked.

Once you've confirmed that your Samsung Galaxy device supports eSIM and is carrier unlocked, you can follow these steps to set up eSIM:

QR Code Installation

1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap on Connections.
3. Tap on SIM card manager.
4. Tap on Add eSIM.

  

5. Tap on Scan QR code for service provider.
6. Scan the QR code found in the eSIM details in the TeneSIM app or in the email we send you.
7. Tap Add.

  

8. After installing the eSIM, you'll be taken to the settings page.
9. Scroll down and tap on Mobile data.
10. Select the eSIM you installed.

  

Your eSIM configuration profile should now be installed on your Samsung Galaxy device.

FAQs for Travelers Purchasing eSIM

Q: How do I check if my phone supports eSIM?
A: Dial *#06# and press the call button. If an EID number appears, your device supports eSIM. You can also click here to view the full list of eSIM-compatible devices.

Q: What is the difference between the Total Data Plan and the Daily Data Plan?
A: Daily Data Plan: This plan provides a specific amount of high-speed data per day. Once the daily data is used up, you must wait until the next day or 24 hours after the activation time (or the time of purchase) to refresh the data. The exact refresh time varies depending on the product.
Total Data Plan: This plan provides a certain amount of high-speed data that can be used anytime during the validity period without a daily limit. You can use all the data as needed within the plan duration.

Q: How long does it take to receive the eSIM after payment?
A: We will send the eSIM QR code immediately, and you will receive an email. If the email is not in your inbox, it might have been filtered into your spam folder. If you have not received the email within 10 minutes, please contact us.

Q: Does the purchased eSIM include voice call and SMS services?
A: Our plans are data-only, which means they do not include voice calls or SMS. You can use VoIP apps like WhatsApp or Skype to make calls, which will use your data package.

Q: Can I use the eSIM data plan for network sharing (personal hotspot)?
A: Yes, you can use the hotspot to share data.

Q: Can I still use my physical SIM card after installing the eSIM?
A: Yes, it will continue to function normally.

Q: When can I install my eSIM?
A: We strongly recommend that you scan the QR code to install the eSIM before you need to use it, such as before your flight departure or upon arrival at your destination. This helps prevent activation issues due to improper handling. Also, please note the exact calculation of the service days for unlimited data plans: the activation date is considered the first day, and it ends at 24:00 on the last day. All dates and times are based on Hong Kong time (UTC+8).
